ASSESS the relational temperature, not just the data. APPROACH with an open question and the space to answer it. LISTEN for what's missing; Dolphins hide hurt and disagreement to keep the peace.
ENGAGE only after the relationship feels intact. AFFIRM by naming the steady, often-invisible work they do. TRACK gently — and check in privately, not in front of the group.
